Finding The Right Tattoo Design

Everyone thinks they are an individual, but in today’s increasingly anonymous society, how do you really stand out from the crowd? Well, one way for sure is to get a personalised tattoo. While it may still be taboo in most societies to have facial tattoos – Maoris, and Mr Tyson excepted – practically anywhere else on the body seems to go – and I do mean anywhere! Recent years have seen a vast surge in the number of people getting tattoos, and nowadays its almost unusual to find someone who doesn’t sport at least one. So with this in mind, how do you find a personalised design. Well, help may be at hand!

1. Tattoo parlours and Tattoo books.

Just pop into your local parlour and browse the designs – get it done – step outside – and see the same design walking down the other side of the street 10 minutes later – pop back in, well you know the drill. The problem with buying locally is that most other people do the same. Granted, you should ask to see if they have a book of their individual work that they specialize in at their shop and many times the artists themselves will have original, high quality designs they have drawn and are more than willing to tattoo you with them, but you have to be careful.

2. So what about the Internet?

It can be a really challenging, and time consuming experience searching for a tattoo design and having to sift through all the designs you've already seen. Unfortunately that’s usually what happens when looking through free tattoo designs on the internet. Many if not all of the free sites simply won't include many if any of the unique or popular designs, however you could come across that one in a million if you look long and hard enough.

3. The Holy Grail – Membership Tattoo Sites

Although you have to part with some cash, it can often be money well spent. Signup normally only takes a few minutes and costs vary – from free to a few dollars but often not much more than this. However, what you get in return is access to thousands of really astounding and exclusive tattoo designs that you probably would not find anywhere else - and whats more you'll also be able to utilize any of the designs at NO ADDITIONAL COST. Most of the sites make it really easy way to filter through hundreds if not thousands of high quality tattoo designs at your own leisure, and find the best tattoo for you. Its then just a simple case of printing the design off, or downloading it if your local artist can handle this (more and more can) and popping along to have it done – all in the knowledge that yours will be truly unique!

So which sites do I recommend, well, a couple of the leading ones are www.choppertattoo.com and www.tattoomenow.com - both have thousands of professionally created designs at greate prices - happy hunting!
